Four ceremonies means four guest lists that overlap imperfectly, four venues with four sets of rules, and a set of dependencies most couples only discover when something collides. Planning here is less about a checklist than about knowing which decisions block which others, and forcing the blocking ones early.
On the day itself, the value of a coordinator is simple: there is one person who holds the whole picture, whom every supplier and every uncle can be sent to. Without that, it becomes the bride’s mother — which is not what she came for.
A large share of Rwandan weddings are funded and partly organised from outside the country, by couples who will land days before the ceremony. That is a different job: more documentation, more decisions made from photographs, and more trust required. We are set up for it.
